project ONE
This project is based on the deprivation in girls education, specifically in Bangladesh. I had chosen this topic because of they way I was brought up as a child. I have always been taught to value eduction and make sure to always work hard for what you want. I also wanted to spread awareness on the unfair treatment towards girls for them to be taken out of school for marriage. For this project, I was able to write a poem based on an interview done from my grandmothers perspective. I also created a portrait of a traditional wedding dress to convey the idea of why girls are deprived of their education. For the most part, I chose this topic because of the way I was taught as a chid and the lack of awareness brought to the situation.

project TWO
In project two, I revolved the topic around monarchy vs democracy in a the book "Ruin and Rising" and the Meiji Restoration. The reason I chose this topic, is because I wanted to gain more knowledge on the idea as well as incorporate some context from one of my favorite YA fantasy series. For this project, I was able to create 2 political speeches who believe more in monarchy. Both explain why they think monarchy is superior and how they will better their community. Apart from that, I also created a map on a cork board with pins representing important data point from the book. In conclusion, This project was all about monarchy vs democracy and how who politics, fictional and real, belief in a government ruled by monarchs.
